The first match manufacter in China

Shanghai Match Co. is the first Chinese match manufacter in existing documents.
In 1877, Shanghai Match Co. was established in Yidongtian , Dama road, Shanghai. It began to product matchs by hand. All materials for producting matchs were imported from overseas. The match used "horse" in label and one box of match sold 5 cashs.
